Agents Write Code. Humans Still Carry the Risk.
The output gets faster. The accountability does not move. Somebody still owns the cut, the tradeoffs, and the fallout.
The useful shift is obvious. Agents remove a lot of mechanical work. Code appears faster. Variants appear faster. Dead ends appear faster too.
What did not change is responsibility. Somebody still has to decide what ships, what gets cut, what is unsafe, what is fake speed, and what is just expensive noise.
That is why the interesting line is not 'AI replaces developers.' The interesting line is that execution gets cheaper while judgment gets more exposed.
The bottleneck moves up the stack. It does not go away.
